According to WebDa Markazi report, Nadiya Mashayekhi added "For people with diabetes, seeing a doctor even once a month is not time consuming at all and can change lifestyle and prevention as well as learning to live better".
She said that diabetes is just a metabolic disorder and its most important symptoms are frequent urination, urinary incontinence, dry mouth, excessive thirst, overeating, excessive tiredness, weight loss, blurred vision and cramping in the limbs, as well as delayed wound healing.
 She emphasized" The role of education, having sufficient information and awareness about non-communicable diseases and most importantly diabetes plays an important role, and therefore one person from each family, a higher level of education, should go to urban and rural health centers and introduce himself as a Health ambassador.

Mashayekhi said that monitoring and self-care are very important in diabetes, and a person who does not control his blood sugar is like the driver of a car that does not have a speedometer and does not know how fast it is moving.
